I was a creative before I realized it. Always intrigued by the capabilities of the camera and post-production media - I finally decided to give it a shot. Despite graduating from the University of Washington with a degree in Political Science and having a 9-5 working for the government, I changed my mindset and became a successful self-taught videographer and photographer.

Made By Melanin, LLC. was created to give photos a stronger voice through the unlimited versatility of videography. Having this perspective has granted me the opportunities to be trusted by Fortune 500 companies and renowned organizations including but not limited to: Amazon, Microsoft, Lyft, Nike, Seahawks and BET. Through partnering with such companies, I have been able to successful direct social campaigns to bring awareness to diversity, equity and inclusion.
